I‘m Steven Mather Solicitor and Your Business Lawyer and this is Mather Podcast Be With You. I‘m keen to learn what makes people successful and indeed what success means. This podcast is a variety of things - sometimes an interview of business people, sometimes a discussion, sometimes a panel, sometimes just me talking. I‘m hopeful it will be interesting, witty, and worth another listen. Prior to April 2021, this podcast was known as The Business Herald - a six-month stint and my first foray into podcasting. I really enjoyed making it, but delivering a weekly business news podcast took too much time, so this new version is more me and hopefully slightly less time consuming.

In this panel discussion, we discuss:

- why and how we should seek skills and value, rather than mere tokenism
- how it is less about tolerance but more about respect for others' backgrounds, experiences and viewpoints

- and much more besides.
This is a fascinating podcast and we're so grateful for my guests, Barbara Armstrong OBE, Ashiedu Joel and Libby Langley for each adding their own unique angle on all the points.
